Identifying the Accuracy and Comprehensibility of Students’ English Word By Word Pronunciation at North Lombok Senior High School

Pronunciation is an important component of language learning that must be well mastered in order to support the development students' competence skills, particularly speaking skills. This descriptive research aims evaluate accuracy and comprehensibility English pronunciation among tenth-grade IPS students consisting 30 at SMAN 1 Bayan North Lombok. Qualitative methods were employed, using student voice recordings as primary data relevant documents secondary data. The analysis technique this study uses concept qualitative developed by Miles Huberman (1994), including reduction, display conclusions drawing. results showed while some demonstrated excellent proficiency pronunciation, others faced significant challenges accurately articulating vowel consonant sounds. These findings highlight importance targeted interventions struggling improve skills all students. questions are focused on Through our evaluation, we found level common words varied students, with pronounce even basic accurately.
